India's prominent director-producer-TV host-actor-RJ Karan Johar has become the first filmmaker from India to have a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds.
The house of the statue is yet to be decided
On Thursday, Karan Johar took to his Twitter account and shared a picture, holding a briefcase and a wax imprint of his palm. You can easily spot a copy of his biography too, An Unsuitable Boy.
“Honoured to be the first filmmaker from India at the prestigious Madame Tussauds. Thank you to the entire team in London who worked tirelessly... Will have further details about when and where soon! Madame Tussauds,” he captioned the image.
Not much has been revealed about the wax statue but we're surely delighted by it. But we're most interested to know where the statue will be kept.
On a related note, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has announced Student of the Year 2 and Kalank, which features Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Alia Bhatt.
