Filmmaker Luc Besson forced producers of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets to get singer Rihanna in the movie.

Besson and the Stay singer enjoyed a normal relationship on set. “When she got emotional she let me get in. She was perfect,” he said. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets also features model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne, Clive Owen, Ethan Hawke, Rutger Hauer and Dane DeHaan. Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets is in theatres.
