#MeToo India: Amitabh Bachchan accused of sexual misconduct! Know details


After roaring loud in the West, the #MeToo movement has gained attetion finally in our land. After many big names of the film fraternity have been called out in public, god knows who stands next in line for the walk of shame.

While Alok Nath, Nana Patekar, Subash Ghai and Sajid Khan are some of the veterans that have already been accused of sexual misconduct in the past, it is time that we focus on the legends. On Friday, celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani attacked Big B via Twitter by replying to his post on the #MeToo movement.

"This has to be the biggest lie ever. Sir the film Pink has released and gone and your image of being an activist will soon too. Your truth will come out very soon. Hope you are biting your hands cuz nails will not be enough. @SrBachchan #Metoo #MeTooIndia #comeoutwomen," she tweeted.

Encouraging women to speak up, Sapna further went on to claim that she has "personally heard so many stories of Bachchan's sexual misconduct." "Have personally heard so many stories of Bachchan’s sexual misconduct and I I hope those women come out. His hypocrisy is sooooo tired. #Metoo #MeTooIndia," she tweeted.

Legend Amitabh Bachchan recently turned 76, and it was on that special ocassion that he spoke about the ongoing #MeToo movement in India. "No woman should ever be subjected to any kind of misbehaviour or disorderly conduct; especially at her workplace," he said in an interview.
