Nora Fatehi finds the remake of an iconic song to be nerve-wrecking

Moroccan-Canadian performer Nora Fatehi will be recreating the Sushmita Sen magic of popular song that left men swooning. Yes, believe it or not, the actress will be doing the recreated version of Sushmita Sen's song ‘Dilbar’ in "Satyameva Jayate". But, you won’t believe what she feels about getting this wonderful chance.

Working on the remake of an iconic song is nerve racking.

Originally, "Dilbar" song featured Sushmita and Sanjay Kapoor in the 1999 film "Sirf Tum". Nora has already rehearsed for upto 10 days prior to the shoot.nora fatehi

Here’s what she has to say on this,  "Doing a remake of an iconic song is always nerve racking because you never know if you can actually do justice to it. Sushmita Sen was iconic in the song and I hope I match up to her."

The recent version of this amazing song has been given an Arabic theme. The number shows Nora doing a belly dance. Now, we want to know with whom will she share the screen space. Well, without further ado, here’s the name. Hunk John Abraham is going to feature in the song. Nora has quoted the song as being "unique and different". On the other hand, John is not going to shake a leg in this song.

John was heard saying,"When I heard the powerful script of 'Satyameva Jayate' I knew that we had most of the ingredients that are required for an out and out commercial masaledaar film. With the addition of 'Dilbar', one of the most catchy songs of the 1990s, and the way it has been stunningly picturised... I am certain we have a winner."

The movie’s producer Nikkhil Advani has praised Nora's belly dance on this song as "genre defining". In the words of director Milap Zaveri ,"'Dilbar' was a rage back then when it released and our new version is also going to be a rage."

"Satyameva Jayate" movie co-stars are debutant Aisha Sharma, Amruta Khanvilkar and Manoj Bajpayee. The film is slated to release on August 15.
