The Biggest clash of 2018 next weekend won't happen now. PadMan starring Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor which was scheduled to release on 25th January clashing with Padmavati, Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.
PadMan is a biopic of Tamil Nadu activist Arunachalam Muruganantham.
PadMan has decided to shift its release date from 25th Jan to 9th feb. With endless controversies surrounding Padmavat, the film finally got a release date that is January 25.
Speaking to the press, Akshay Kumar revealed the reason for shifting his movie release date was because of the request made by Mr Bhansali, whose film has gone through months of Violent storms.

He has gone through a lot. It is essential for them to release the film at this time, their stakes are higher than mine,Akshay said.
I will be grateful to him for a lifetime. This is how we stand with each other, Sanjay Leela Bhansali said.
Padmaavat, earlier titled Padmavati recently got a green signal by Central Board of film was scheduled to release last month but was postponed after it got rejected by the Censor Board. The film has recently released its new promo and are now ready to proceed with its promotions on full force after Supreme Court also ruled against the ban in the states.
