A biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been awaited from quite some time. Actor Paresh Rawal, who has been a part of numerous blockbusters over the past three decades, has confirmed that his upcoming biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start with its shoot later this year.

In Sanju, actor Paresh Rawal plays the role of Sanjay Dutt’s father and the film legend Sunil Dutt. The actor who received Padma Shri award and is Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) MP is expected to portray Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an upcoming biopic this year. In an exclusive interview, the actor stated that “We are just locking the script and hopefully it will finish soon, and we will begin to shoot it in September or October."
The actor also remarked that he believes that it will be quite a testing job to fit into the shoes of such a prominent leader and said, “It will be a hugely challenging role.” The 63 year old actor was earlier seen in a biopic when in 1994 he played the character of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the biopic Sardar. Many wait to see his first look as the leader of the ruling party.
As per the reports, Paresh Rawal, is also producing the Narendra Modi biopic. His last production was OMG: Oh My God, which he bankrolled along with Akshay Kumar and in which he played the lead role of an atheist.
