After Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, acclaimed filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra shared the first poster of his upcoming venture Mere Pyare Prime Minister, a story of a single mom and her child, who wants to built a toilet for her so that she doesn't has to go out at the middle of the night, like many women do.
He shared the poster on World Toilet Day
In the poster, we can see a little boy pointing towards a sketch on the wall depicting a toilet. He can be seen with National Award winning Marathi actress Anjali Pathak (essaying his mother in the film) with a broad smile on her face. Rakeysh wrote while sharing the posted on his social media, "#MereyPyareyPrimeminister- here is the first poster on #Worldtoiletday2017 -@PMOIndia - meri arzi aapki marzi (sic).”
The movie is about a mother-son relationship, which teaches us about hope and taking charge of a situation.
The film is set in the backdrop of the slums in the city.
In September, during the RISE Summit, Mehra spoke about the film and the issue of sanitation, which he has been helping to tackle since the last four years via his association with an NGO.
On a related note, Rakeysh is also gearing up for his 2018 release Fanney Khan, featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
