‘Haider’ actor Shahid Kapoor and his pretty wife Mira Rajput are expecting their second bundle of joy this year. Mira is about to enter her second trimester, hence the actor planned to head to a romantic babymoon in June. But life had other plans.
Shahid's busy schedule doesn't allow him to go for a babymoon vacation.
The schedule of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' has already been delayed which has ruined his babymoon plans. If reports are to be believed, Shahid is reworking on his entire schedule to complete the movie on time to start shooting for the hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’. With no option left, the actor had to forcefully cancel his babymoon vacation with wifey Mira and daughter Misha.
Shree Narayan Singh’s 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' should have wrapped up by now. The last schedule was about to start in April, however there were delays due to financial troubles of ex producer Prernaa Arora. After that, T-series head-honcho Bhushan Kumar has taken charge of the project to complete the final schedule of the film.
An insider revealed to media, “Shahid had decided to spend quality time with Mira and Misha in June before he begins training for Arjun Reddy. But now that the Batti Gul schedule is likely to run into June, he has called off the trip. He wants to ensure that his commitment to this film doesn’t spill over to that of Arjun Reddy, the shoot of which is lined up for July.”
Shahid may have to work in double shifts during June. He will have to finish shooting for 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' while preparing for Arjun Reddy. A reliable source told a tabloid, “Shahid will be filming Batti Gul in the mornings. His evenings will be dedicated to MMA training for Sandeep Vanga’s film. He needs to beef up for the remake. Besides undergoing dietary changes, he will alter his fitness regimen to include weight training.”
