Simmba: Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh's bromance will make you happy about December!


Before getting married in the picturesque Lake Como, Italy, Ranveer Singh had wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film Simmba. Now after his festivities are over, the star is back to promoting the movie, which is the first Bollywood collaboration between him and ace action director Rohit Shetty.

Simmba is scheduled to release on December 28.

On Thursday, Ranveer shared a video clip of the time spent with the director on set and from the way these two bonded, well, Simmba is surely going to be a memorable movie. The clip was shot on the day of Simmba’s wrap up, and we see the actor getting emotional while speaking about his “Bhai” – Rohit.

“Bhai is Bhai love you #RohitShetty,” Ranveer captioned the image. In the video, the Gunday actor says, “My experience has been thousands of times more than what I had expected. I’ve never had such a blast making a movie in all the years that I’ve been working. The things that I learnt are the things that I’ll carry forward for the rest of my life, and it’s been cultivated and nurtured by sir (Rohit Shetty). When the hard work of all of us comes together, a film like Simmba is made, which according to me will be a blockbuster.”

Co-producer Karan Johar also posted the same video on his official Twitter handle and wrote, “The incredible love and chemistry between Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. #SimmbaTrailer OUT ON 3RD DECEMBER”

Recently, Shetty had wished the newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on their marriage by penning down a heartfelt post, where he wrote, “I am proud to showoff today that my Simmba is marrying my Meenamma.”

The actor-director duo had earlier teamed up for a brand endorsement. But their camaraderie only deepened during the shooting of Simmba. The film also features Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana. Ranveer will be seen essaying the role of a corrupt powerful cop named Sangram Bhalerao, who mends his ways after falling in love with a simple girl.

In other news, the Golmaal gang including Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade, apart from Ajay Devgn will be making a special cameo in the movie, which is scheduled to release on December 28, this year.
