Sunny Leone to make her debut in Tamil film, Veeramadevi

After winning hearts in Bollywood, Sunny Leone is all set to make her debut in Tamil films. She will be seen in Veeramadevi, a period war drama. The shooting of the film has begin in Chennai on Wednesday with a formal puja.

Sunny Leone will next be seen in Total Dhammal.

Sunny has earlier made a special appearance in  a song in 2014 Tamil comedy thriller Vadacurry, but Veeramadevi will be her first debut in K'twon as a lead heroine.

Sunny is gearing up for the role and has undergone a special training in martial arts, sword fighting and horse riding for the past few weeks.

Sunny was asked about her role and she said,I have always liked doing action sequences. I was waiting for a script like this for a long time. I started preparing for this movie from the minute director V C Vadivudayan narrated me the story. I have a special love towards south India. I have a lot of my fans here, especially Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.  My character is extremely strong and I think if there is any representation of woman I would love to play, it's Veeramadevi. She is very determined and an independent woman.

The film is helmed by VC Vadivudaiyan and bankrolled by Ponse Stephen under the production of Steeves Corner. The film will also release in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
