Uri box office collection day 24: Vicky Kaushal’s movie soon to enter 200 crore club!

After two massive hits of the previous year, Raazi and Sanju, actor Vicky Kaushal marked his presence once again on the cinema with his recent release Uri: The Surgical Strike. For one more time, the actor has been successful in ruling the box office with his commendable performance onscreen.

To the shock of many, the movie broke the records of box collection on day 24 by leaving Baahubali 2: The Conclusion behind in the race. On its 24th day of release, Uri earned an amount of Rs 8.71 crore constituting the total collection to be Rs 189.53 crore. On the other hand, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi) was able to collect only Rs 7.80 crore on the 4th Sunday or 24th day of its release.

The movie did not just break the old records of hit Indian movies, but, it continues to perform better than many of the new releases including, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Thackeray and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.

Tweeting about Uri: The Surgical Strike’s box collections, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#UriTheSurgicalStrike creates HISTORY... Smashes Day 23 and Day 24 records held by #Baahubali2...Day 23: #Baahubali2 6.35 cr... #Uri 6.53 cr. Day 24: #Baahubali2 7.80 cr... #Uri  8.71 cr. Now #Uri holds the record of highest Day 23 and Day 24. MONSTROUS HIT!"

On a relatable note, the movie additionally stars, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina playing crucial roles. Depicting the terrorist acts of 2016 and the surgical strike done against them, the movie gives audience enormous patriotic vibes.
