Uri producer Ronnie Screwvala donates Rs 1 crore to army widows!

Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike which is based on India's first-ever successful covert operation at the Uri base camp in Kashmir has been making a lot of buzz. Razzi actor Vicky Kaushal is getting praises from all over the globe for brilliantly portraying the role of Major Vihan Shergill in Uri.

Debutant Aditya Dhar directorial managed to collect over Rs 46 crore in less than a week, exceeding everyone's expectations. And yesterday, on the occasion of Army Day, director Dhar, producer Ronnie Screwvala, Vicky and Yami Gautum attended the parade and other celebrations in Delhi.

Not only the parade but the producer Ronnie Screwvala has announced that he will be donating Rs 1 crore to army widows as a token of respect to the armed forces of India.

Also, team Uri organized a special screening for the army officials in order to get their feedback about the Kaushal starrer war-movie.

On a related note, Uri: the Surgical Strike features Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautum and Paresh Rawal in pivotal characters. Soon after, Sanju actor will be seen in the Vanishing Act which will go on the floors in 2019.
