Recent reports confirmed that Prince actor Vivek Oberoi is all set to rock the theaters in the avatar of BJP leader and former Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a biopic. Soon after lead actor Vivek released his first look from the Narendra Modi biopic which will be directed by Omung Kumar and will be presented by Legend Global Studio in India.
However, Hera Pheri hit maker Paresh Rawal had announced working on a Narendra Modi biopic as the lead before Omung Kumar announced his version of Modi biopic. Although no further details about Paresh's project was revealed in the last few days but Hulchul actor confirms that his version of Narendra Modi biopic is still in works.
63-year-old actor-comedian-politician Rawal added that he believes that his role as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the most challenging role of his career. Even after Vivek announced a biopic on PM Modi, Paresh is nowhere affected by the competition.
Hence, there is no doubt in the fact that in the coming few years the audience will be treated with not one but two Narendra Modi biopic. Talking about the same, Rawal said: It is the most challenging role of my career till date. I have a hunger for good roles. I want to be challenged and I am looking forward to this experience. We will start work this year itself.”
“We are stuck at the script level and bit on the financial, production levels. I am producing it. We are going to do it, 100 per cent. I am playing Modi, the BJP MP from Ahmadabad East said," added Sanju actor.
Iconic comedian Rawal also confirmed that he has not yet seen Oberoi's 'much-talked' look from Suresh Oberoi's upcoming Narendra Modi biopic.
On a related note, Paresh Rawal is currently waiting to see the response of Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautum starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike which releases today and is directed by debutant Aditya Dhar. In the upcoming war movie, Paresh will play the role of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
