Soon after a lot of celebrities came forward for sharing their experiences, Saif Ali Khan also reveals his #MeToo experience. Nawab of Pataudi Saif Ali Khan has shared his opinion of not working with such heinous people who disrespect women and men both.
When asked about the movement the Kurban actor said, “I have been harassed in my career, not sexually, but I have been harassed 25 years ago and I am still angry about it.” Adding more to his statement, the Humshakals actor said “Usually people don’t understand other person’s pain and it takes a lot of courage to stand for yourself in such a big industry. Whenever I think about that incident I still get angry.”
Saif Ali Khan refused to work with perpetrators and said “We all need to have the same attitude. I don’t want to work with them. We need to understand how these people are behaving, it’s not okay, and it’s disgusting. “
The Sacred Games actor also quoted, “If someone asks my daughter to come to see him at Madh Island, I will go with her and punch that man in the face. If she tells me this guy said this to me, he will then be fighting me in the court. I am sorry, but that’s my reaction to it. He would not dare do it again. Every girl should have that kind of security.”
The #MeToo movement in India was escalated by Tanushree Dutta’s allegations of harassment against Nana Patekar where a lot of Bollywood celebrities outnumbered filmmakers, directors and their co-stars.
