After watching Ant-Man and the Wasp, here's a precise ranking of all MCU movies

Feature

In the last 10 years, Marvel has proved that there is nothing wrong in being a sidekick as even they have the power to carry films of their own to great heights. Marvel has proved that no imagination is useless and even spin-offs work a great deal now.

We live in a time when Black Panther took everyone by surprise after becoming one of the most successful films at the box-office. If anything, it proved that no story is small; no actor is any less than the others and no matter what the passion of a filmmaker can never be overlooked.

There are no two ways of saying this but Marvel Cinematic Universe is exceptional. It is beyond doubt and imagination, it is the greatest bliss to our generation.

Honestly, Marvel has most deservingly surpassed amazing fantasy movies such as Harry Potter, Star Wars and James Bond.

Our love for sci-fi developed with these movies and this really began with Nick Furry's first words from The Avengers, "There was an idea. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more, to see if they could work together when we needed them, to fight the battles we never could.”

The time when Samuel L Jackson introduced Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, The Incredible Hulk and other, we knew that this will keep expanding for decades to come.

So, to pay respect for the most amazing superheroes on the face of the Earth; here is a best to worst ranking of all the 20 MCU movies!

The Avengers

Perfectly summed up by Paul Asay's movie review, "If two’s company and three’s a crowd, what’s four? Or six? In this case, it’s Marvel’s newest superhero movie."

Black Panther

In every way Black Panther is what Marvel always wanted to achieve. This movie shall remain immortal and will be discussed among people of all ages, races, shapes and sizes.

Iron Man 3

Marvel, itself, never ever dreamt of achieving such brilliancy. There is no other film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which makes us feel the product of one vision like Iron Man 3 does.

Thor: Ragnarok

After the mixed response of The Dark World, everyone knew that Marvel need something kick-ass for the Thor series to work. Hence, we give you the much-awaited movie, Thor: Ragnarok. From the title track to everything that there is, this movie is the greatest movie to be made in the Thor trilogy and also, the highest-grossing (and highest-rated) film of the same.

Iron Man

There's no MCU without Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man is when it all began- the good and the bad. We really can't imagine anything in Marvel without him, let alone the character of Tony Stark.

Avengers: Infinity War

You might be expecting this at #1 but sadly, the relationships and bonds that have actually formed over the years were little to not really express as is.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

Just like Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is very different from what was really expected. Less on fighting and more on emotions.

Thor

While every Thor series has something new but this is where all of it began. When we saw Thor as the God of Asgard and as a human; we saw Loki planning with weird creatures and we saw Thor's first love. This movie is the soul beginning of Thor.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron is class apart! This movie wasn't much like the first part rather it was like a journey into the psyches of superheroes, their fears and insecurities.

Captain America: Civil War

After the great success of Winter Soldier, Civil War had great expectation to deliver and it did! More than that, all Captain America movies have the same connection with the audience.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

One can say Marvel grew after Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This is when Marvel hired Joe & Anthony Russo to take charge of the movie and deliver what's not expected by any.

Guardians of the Galaxy

The biggest gamble in the MCU, but it totally paid off so let's not talk about it. Highly over-budget but still it was fresh and different for Marvel as well.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Although the movie achieved what it had to, we wish we could get the same with Ant-Man. Nothing more but it gives the vibe of a coming-of-age John Hughes movie.

Captain America: The First Avenger

Under the direction of Lucasfilm alum Joe Johnston, who previously made the underrated The Rocketeer, this movie was fantastic. There's no room for bad movies in this list and also, it featured one of the best post credit scenes of any Marvel movie.

Doctor Strange

Truth be told, Doctor Strange is one of the most disappointing series in the MCU. Helmed by Scott Derrickson, the choice was different and Cumberbatch confidence was admirable but still, it ended up exactly like what Marvel movies shouldn't.

Iron Man 2

I have enjoyed this movie to the fullest always and I think I'm going to watch it all over again today. There's no other movie in which you can enjoy the presence of Mickey Rourke, hamming it up as a wronged Russian who only seemed to be interested in one thing - his burrrd.

The Incredible Hulk

This movie is the second project, where Disney did not have Marvel's back. Maybe that's why, The Incredible Hulk felt compromised at many levels.

Ant-Man

Although the story behind the movie is very interesting but the question remains, why? I mean, Hawkeye deserves a movie but we don't see him in the near future then why?

Thor: The Dark World

I just have one thing to say, if you watched it once then you have my sympathies but not again. NEVER!

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Oh, the recently released but the worst one till yet. Just like its prequel, there was no need of another Ant-Man movie.

So, ready to binge them all from best to worst? Go MCU!
