A court in Delhi had earlier announced that there are sufficient grounds for registration of an FIR against Mithun Chakraborty's wife Yogita Bali and their son Mahaakshay aka Mimoh and to proceed further in accordance with the law.

Soon after the judgement of Delhi court, Mithun's wife Yogita Bali and Mahaakshay aka Mimoh went to the Bombay high Court appealing for interim relief or bail.

Today, Justice Ajay Gadkari dismissed their appeal for bail. He added that the concerned mother-son duo can approach the respective court for pre-arrest bail.

The woman alleged that when she became pregnant, Mahaakshay had given her some medicine which led to an abortion. In the complaint, it was clearly mentioned that Mahaakshay's mother Yogita Bali had threatened her of dire consequences if she continued the relationship.

Until further judgement Mimoh Chakraborty and Yogita Bali are still in the custody.
