And one day, Dwayne's agent called him to tell that there was another opportunity waiting for him; wrestling. Dwayne was invited to join the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in the year 1996 where he was named as 'The Rock'. Dwayne recalled that day by saying: "I was lost, I didn't know where I was going to go, what was going to come next because I couldn't see a future. I wasn't going to get back on my feet feeling sorry for myself, I had to pick myself up and keep going and fighting and grasp and claw and scratch at every opportunity that came my way."

Scorpion King

Before starting his Hollywood career, Dwayne met a ton of media representatives for knowing the industry in and out. He made sure that no stones are left unturned before he shows up on the big-screen. Soon, he got an opportunity to star opposite Brendan Fraser in 2001's 'The Mummy Returns'.
