Well! Here are the reasons why people stop gaining muscle mass after a period of time:

Muscle Labor

If you have been continuously working on your muscles without giving it a break then chances are that your muscles have stopped gaining. After a certain point of time, your muscles become used to of the daily workout. You must gradually add weights to your training and rest properly.

Non-consistent workout

Your workout must be consistent, if strength build-up is your motive. And from consistent we mean, you must follow a particular muscle workout for at least 2-3 weeks before changing your routine. The reason is that you do not have any standard set for making progress as you are changing your exercises way too often.

Weight tracking

Many lifters/ strength trainee commit this mistake which leads to loss of muscle mass; they don't keep a track of the weight they are lifting. If you will not keep a track of the weight you have been lifting then the chances of your injury increase and muscle mass is not as expected.

Inadequate sleep!

When you tend to lift weights then there is nothing new about muscle wear and tear and hence, the whole thing is about recovery. And the best way to relax your muscles and recover muscle damage is by sleeping sufficiently for ensuring a constant muscle-gain.

Besides nutrition, the above listed factors also play a major role in the overall muscle-mass of your body. Stay tuned for more lifestyle related updates.
