Here's when Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla will hit the theatres!

After setting the screen on fire in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's Pink, legend Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu are set to share the screen space again for Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming film Badla. According to reports, the team has wrapped up the shoot for the movie. The director says the end of a film shoot is “heartbreaking”.

“‘Badla’ shoot ends. Had the most awesome awesome crew who did all the hard work and of course… Sir Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu who took care of the acting department. Maine sirf chance pe dance kiya,” Ghosh tweeted. “End of a film shoot is very heart breaking… Dil solid toot jaata hai (The heart breaks badly),” he added.

Expressing the love, Taapsee posted a video of Ghosh jumping in the air, and wrote: “Anddddd its a schedule wrap from the youngest member of the cast and crew ‘Badla’ (considering we have a 2-year-old acting in the film, it’s quite an achievement).”

The film is being touted as a murder mystery and has veeb widely shot in Scotland. Produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, the film is slated to release on March 8, 2019, which is incidentally Women’s Day as well.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is looking forward for the release of Brahmastra co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. Taapsee Pannu, on the other hand, has her hands full with Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan which will open TIFF this year and Mulk co-starring Rishi Kapoor.
