Sanju song Badhiya: Ranbir and Sonam take us one a happy retro ride!

Rajkumar Hirani and the team of Sanju shocked us all with an amazing trailer, and now take us on a happy ride with their first song, Main Badhiya… Tu Bhi Badhiya. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor (as Sanjay Dutt aka Sanju) and Sonam Kapoor (his love interest), the song just fits perfectly in the 80s retro feel. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Sonu Nigam, the song begins with Ranbir Kapoor trying to prove to his father that he can lip-sync to his songs.

Sanju is slated to release on June 29, 2018

In the video, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja are seen very compatible and enjoying themselves. The lyrics have a nostalgic quality about it as well. Sanju, will bring back the Saawariya co-stars together after 10 years.

Talking about Sonam's splendid acting skills, Ranbir said, "We never got an opportunity to work together again but Sonam is still the same, she hasn’t changed. Her personality is still the same. The only thing which has changed is that she has become an even better actress. Both of us really enjoyed working with each other."

Sanju, is a biopic on Bollywood's bad boy Sanjay Dutt. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, written by Abhijat Joshi, the film is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film also stars Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Vicky Kaushal as Sanjay’s best friend, Dia Mirza as Maanayata Dutt, and Anushka Sharma as a journalist/filmmaker.
