You may have seen his popular movies, ‘The Descent’, 'Estranged’, ‘Doomsday’ and many more blockbusters. Now, this England-based actor-producer Craig Conway will arrive in India later this month to search for Indian talent.

The movie will be shot in Newcastle and Mumbai during mid- 2019.

Along with this maverick producer will be filmmaker Jacqui Miller Charlton, according to their statement. Conway, Clare Cahill and Charlton are currently mulling over a feature film that will be directed by the Indian actor-politician Raj Babbar's niece Kajri

Just to let you know, Kajri forayed into direction with a short film 'Parda' that reached the semi-final round of the Student Academy Awards. Her movie was also screened at the BAFTA-Affiliated Aesthetica Film Festival in the previous year. Naturally, she is enthusiastic about directing her first-ever British feature film which is titled 'Burning Bride'

The story of the movie goes like this. Tracing back to 1940S, the movie is based on a 15 year old Indian girl’s life when she gets hitched to a British officer and goes to England. The movie shall be written and directed by Kajri. Juuhi Babbar Sonii will be responsible for the co-production shooting schedules in India for the movie under the banner of Babbar Visuals.

Kajri shared, "I will be putting in close to 18 months of research since the film highlights the British standpoint after India got declared independent. Around 20 percent of the film will be shot in India while the remaining will be shot in UK."

"The main lead will be a British actor while I'd like to have an Indian actress on board as a female lead."
