Finally, the much awaited multi-lingual KGF: Chapter 1 has hit the theatres. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF trailer made a lot of buzz over the internet. As per the trailer, Yash starrer Kannada-language action-period drama looks dark and compelling.
And you will be surprised to know that the movie is even better than its trailer. The movie revolves around the life of Rocky (Yash) who is an ambitious boy and willing to do anything for becoming rich and powerful.
As we all know that Prashanth's directorial is the most talked about Kannada project of the century, the makers have profoundly delivered the same. The movie delivers a nail biting first-half and an apt second-half.
The audience is treated with a dark cinematography and lots of violence. Well, the story of KGF is pretty solid too. The screenplay of the movie is commendable and there are plenty of moments in the movie that will give you Goosebumps.
The first chapter of KGF begins in 1951 and dates till 2018. The growth of the lead character, Rocky is shown in a progressive way. The forms of story-telling used by the director, will keep you engaged.
The first part builds the character of Rocky as the maverick mastermind who will not stop for anything until he reaches his mission. While there is a sense of temporary closure in the first chapter of the film, one also leaves the hall yearning for more. KGF surely seems to have delivered what it set to achieve.
Along with Yash, KGF also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Anant Nag, Mita Vashisht and Srinivasa Murthy in pivotal characters.
