Manmarziyaan Movie Review: Brilliant portrayal of realistic love by Kashyap

The title 'Manmarziyaan' translates to 'do what pleases your heart' in Hindi. And that pretty much sums up the movie itself. Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal starrer Manmarziyaan is a complicated and intriguing love story of Rumi, being portrayed by Taapsee on-screen.

Initially, there is no confusion in Rumi's love-story besides the fact that her love-interest, Vicky aka Vicky Kaushal is not man enough to accept their love-affair in front of her family. Troubled with her half-man, half-child boyfriend, Taapsee is also being pressurized by her family for getting married.

Enters Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan), who is a successful banker from London and is the kind of guy to marry. However, Rumi is a like a breeze and flows in her own direction and wants to be loved. What follows next is a crazy tale which is completely worth watching.

Where the first half is hilarious, crazy and full of madness, the second will take you down to the dark road. All the actors did a marvelous job in bringing the on-screen characters to life. And so did director Anurag Kashyap who managed to present love in the most realistic form possible.

Talking about the performance of our beloved Bollywood stars, Taapsee did an amazing job portraying the character of Rumi. Fortunately Kaushal has managed to pull Vicky off with this unmatched talent. Where many fans were waiting to witness Junior Bachchan's comeback, Abhishek failed to make a mark in the movie.

Enough said, Manmarziyaan may or may not suit your taste as it is the part of a rare romantic story in the most beholding way possible. As per our final verdict, we will like to give 7 out of 10 stars.
