The new Rajinikath film, Petta has been ruling the box office as expected. The film released five days ago alongside Ajith starrter Viswasam but has been rocking both domestic as well as the overseas markets.
Petta has crossed Rs 100 Crore mark at the global box office even before the completion of one week of its release. The film has been written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, produced by Sun Pictures and stars some of the most brilliant actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, M. Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha and J Mahendran along with Rajnikath in the lead, ofcourcse. Famous trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his Twitter and announced that “#Petta (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi Versions) has crossed ₹ 100 Cr Gross at the World-wide Box Office.. #Petta100crs.”
While Ajith starrer Viswasam which is in competition with Petta this week, is being badly beaten up at the box office in front of Rajinikath's movie in both domestic and overseas markets.
The star of the movie and the nostalgic Indian cinema makes the movie a delightful watch. Not just Rajini won the appreciations and love of the audience; the other movie actors have also played their roles to the best of their abilities.
Rajinikath was last seen in Shankar directorial 2.0, along with Akshay Kumar. The movie broke all the box-office records in 2018.
