“Salaar” Box Office Collection on Day 19 Surges to ₹700 Crores, Aligns with Baahubali 2’s Blockbuster Journey

In its 19th day since release, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” featuring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, has reached a significant milestone in its global box office journey, surging into the prestigious ₹700 crore club. Film analyst Manobala Vijayabalan recently announced this achievement on social media platform X, highlighting the movie’s substantial financial success.

Manobala Vijayabalan’s tweet on Tuesday heralded the movie’s triumph, stating, “BREAKING: Global Star Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire ZOOMS past ₹700 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office. Prabhas becomes the only star from south to HOLD three films in ₹700 crore club.” Notably, according to Sacnilk.com, Prabhas’ pinnacle in box office performance remains with “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” accumulating a staggering ₹1788.06 crore worldwide.

The stellar achievement of Salaar adds to Prabhas’ track record of ₹700 crore hits, positioning him as a unique Southern star with three movies in this elite category. “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” directed by SS Rajamouli in 2017, stands as the highest-grossing film for Prabhas, featuring an ensemble cast alongside him, including Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and Subbaraju. This cinematic saga followed the success of “Baahubali: The Beginning” in 2015, functioning as both a sequel and a prequel.

Earlier updates by Manobala Vijayabalan detailed the day-wise collection breakdown of Salaar at the global box office. These figures showcased Salaar’s remarkable journey: starting from a substantial opening of ₹176.52 crore on day one, followed by consistent figures gradually edging closer to the ₹700 crore milestone, culminating in a cumulative total of ₹694.32 crore by the 18th day.

The movie’s performance signifies its sustained box office strength, underscoring its impactful reception among audiences worldwide and solidifying Prabhas’ standing as a prominent figure in the Indian film industry.
